Refund policy
Returns, Cancellations, and Food Storage
Our Return Policy lasts 14 days for any non-food items, such as T-shirts, books, and gifts. Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Food items may not be returned.
If you wish to cancel an order or there are problems with shipping, sizes, and/or flavors, this must be reported to Mt. Hope Farms within 24 hours of receipt of the package. Please send an email to: mthopefarms@yahoo.com describing the problem. We will contact you. In the SUBJECT Line type the words: Customer Service/Order #. Be sure to include your name, telephone number, and the the best time to call you. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange.
Mt. Hope Farms fruit spreads are a food item and exempt from being returned. They are perishable and, by law, foods cannot be returned. Unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange for food items.
If the shipping box and/or its fruit spread contents is damaged upon arrival, you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt of the box. Retain all packaging and leave the contents in place. Photograph the box with its contents and send the image to us at: info@mthopefarmsoregon.com. In the SUBJECT line type the words: Shipping Damage/Order #. Send an email with the photograph attached. Be sure to include your name, telephone number, and the best time to call you.
Refunds
We issue refunds for packages that have been mishandled, or if you are extremely unsatisfied with our products. As always, message us immediately if you are unsatisfied. Once your non-food return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within three weeks of receipt of the return.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@mthopefarmsoregon.com
Storage of Mt. Hope Fruit Spread
To ensure the quality and safety of your product, please store in a cool, dark, dry place until opening. Once opened, store in the refrigerator.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@mthopefarmsoregon.com and send your item to: 11103 S. Mount Hope Road, Molalla OR 97038, United States.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping
Your order will be shipped within 3 to 5 business days of your order - Monday through Friday. We are closed for processing online orders during national holidays and weekends.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are returning an item, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Mt. Hope Farms is not responsible for lost or stolen mail.
