Kick off the 4th of July weekend with these fun red, white and blue layered cocktails! They're festive, patriotic and you can leave the alcohol out for a mocktail version. Cheers and happy Independence Day! 

Layered Patriotic Cocktail

Ingredients - Serves 4

Red Layer

• 1 cup frozen strawberries

• 1 cup ice

• 2 tbsp Mt. Hope Farms Strawberry Lavender Fruit Spread

• ¼ cup pineapple juice

• ½ lime, juiced

• 3 oz white rum - optional

White Layer

• 1 cup frozen pineapple

• 1 cup ice

• ¼ cup cream of coconut (not canned coconut)

• ¼ cup pineapple juice

• ½ lime, juiced

• 3 oz white rum - optional

Blue Layer

• 1 cup frozen blueberries

• 1 cup ice

• 2 tbsp Mt. Hope Farms Blueberry Orange Spice Fruit Spread

• 2 tbsp cream of coconut

• ¼ cup pineapple juice

• ½ lime, juice

• 3 oz white rum - optional

Directions

1. In a high speed blender, make the red layer by adding all of the ingredients into the blender. Blend on high until thick and smooth, about 1 minute. Divide the mixture between four serving glasses.

2. Place the glasses in the freezer while you wash the blender to make the white layer. Add all of the white layer ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth, about 1 minute. 

3. Carefully spoon the white layer on top of the red layer in the serving glasses until it is spread out evenly. Place in the freezer while you prepare the last layer

4. Repeat this process with the blue layer and serve immediately!
